With the rallying theme of “Preserving a Clean Environment, a Collective Responsibility,” this three-day campaign brought together over 250 passionate volunteers from diverse corners of Oman, uniting government bodies, private organizations, and dedicated community members.

Led by Manar bint Abdullah Al Riyamiyah, our team recognized the pivotal role Masirah Island plays as a vital nesting site for endangered sea turtles, particularly loggerhead turtles facing the threat of extinction. Ranking as the world’s second-largest nesting ground for these magnificent creatures, Masirah Island holds ecological significance that cannot be overstated.
